  • Store Information: Our online storefront powered by Woocommerce and Square may collect information needed to process your purchase, such as credit card, address(es), email address and other info required to send you the physical or downloadable items you purchase.

I use the information I collect for the following purposes, based on your consent:

  • To Send You My Newsletter: The primary purpose is to send you the newsletter you signed up for, which may include news about my books, upcoming releases, events, special offers, and personal updates.
  • To Fulfill Your Purchase: I assume you want the items you paid me money to get. If not, let me know.
  • To Personalize Content: I use your first name to address you personally in emails.

I will never sell your personal information. I only share your data with trusted third-party service providers who help me operate my newsletter.

  • Email Marketing Platform: My newsletter is managed and sent using MailerLite. They are the “data processor” and store your name and email address on my behalf.   • Other Account Information: No other information is knowingly shared with third parties. Wherever possible data sharing options in this site’s plugins have been disabled and the site is configured in such a way to keep all collected information under the control of the site owners. Examples include Woocommerce, WordPress, and other hosting providers.

I will not share your information with any other third parties without your explicit consent, unless required by law.

6. Your Data Rights

You have rights over your personal information. You can:

  • Unsubscribe: You can opt-out of my newsletter at any time by clicking the “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom of every email I send. This will immediately remove you from my mailing list.
  • Access and Update: You can request a copy of the personal data I hold about you or ask me to correct any inaccuracies. Most email providers include a link to “update your preferences” in the email footer where you can do this yourself.
  • Request Deletion (The Right to be Forgotten): You can request that I permanently delete your personal information from my records.

I will retain your personal information for as long as you remain subscribed to my newsletter. If you unsubscribe, your information will be permanently removed from my active mailing list within a reasonable timeframe.

For user information related to purchases. Data will be retained as long as needed for order fulfillment and tax auditing purposes. Account information related to Completed, Refunded, and Inactive (abandoned) accounts will be deleted after 12 months. Other information for incomplete or cancelled orders where no money has changed hands will be removed after 3 days.

8. Data Security

I take the security of your data seriously. I rely on the security measures provided by my email marketing platform, MailerLite, and Payment provider Square to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.

9. Children’s Privacy

My newsletter is intended for adults. I do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 16. If you believe I have inadvertently collected such information, please contact me immediately so I can delete it.

10. International Data Transfers

My website and email service provider’s servers may be located outside of your country of residence (for example, in the United States). By subscribing, you acknowledge that your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in these locations. My service providers use standard contractual clauses and other safeguards to ensure your data is protected.
